Guide: Yu Arafuka
Route: Jinbo-cho - Tsukiji - Asakusa - Ueno - Roppongi - Shibuya
Dear Tokyo Free Guide,
Thank you for Yu!
Yu Arafuka whole-heatedly toured me from dawn to dusk with an indomitable determination to ensure I saw everything I wanted to see in Tokyo. Even before I arrived, he was extraordinarily kind and
helpful in making sure all of my interests were taken care of–he researched and composed a list of inexpensive hotels for me and offered to pick me up from the airport to make sure I arrived safely
to my hotel. He was always fast to reply to my questions and I immediately felt more comfortable about traveling alone for this trip. Because of Yu, my quick trip to Tokyo was very fulfilling, informative, and enjoyable. I had such a lengthy list of places I wanted to go and Yu weaved our itinerary together flawlessly, our tour was so extensive that I think we covered seven or eight of the subway lines! And with his engaging and warm personality, we quickly became fast friends. He is a true professional and an amazing ambassador. I am very happy to have a new friend in Tokyo!
Thank you again!

Guide: Ichiro
Route: Gokokuji - Yasukuni Shrine - Omotesando - Shibuya
Dear Ichiro and TFG,
I want to thank you again for for a fine day in Tokyo, my request came at the last minute and Ichiro came through for me. We went to a couple of places that are off the beaten tourist track. It was very special and unforgetable. Ichiro helped me navigate through places I could never find on my own. I look forward to my next visit to Japan and to visit with my TFG friends. You are the best!! Feel free to use me as reference.
Kind regards,
Steve

Guide: Masako Shimada
Route: Odaiba - Omotesando - Harajuku - Shibuya
We wanted to thank you for arranging the services of Masako as our guide in Tokyo on May 21st. It was the most wonderful experience for us, as she was so gracious, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and warm. She helped us love Tokyo. She taught us about Japanese life and culture. She listened to all our requests, and gave us even more. As a final gesture of the day, she made sure we found a great restaurant and helped us order, even though she was already late for her own family, having spent more than the expected time with us. It was truly an amazing experience to meet her.

Guide: Kuniko Yanagi
Route: Ekouin (Ryogoku) - Edo Tokyo Museum - Chanko Lunch - Sumo Stable - Dinner at Izakaya
…for a wonderful day spent in the company of Kuniko, one of your voluntary guides. We had an absolutely fabulous time visiting the Edo museum, a hidden little shrine-cum-cemetery and then watching the sumo match. Wow, it was fascinating and amazing and I learnt a lot about this centuries old wrestling sport. Kuniko was a delight and taught me a lot. We also tried the chanko, the sumo’s national dish, but fortunately didn’t quite expand as much…
Well done and congratulations to your organization. It makes it all so much more personal and fascinating. See you soon again I hope.

On April 5, we had a hanami party at Shinjuku Gyoen park. Hanami is the Japanese traditional outdoor party beneath the cherry trees. The party had 36 participants and turned out to be a lot of fun.
Here are some comments from our guests:
Me and my girlfriend have spent some very great moments at the hanami party in the Gyoen park in shinjuku! we met a lot of tourists and guides and it was one of the best moments of our trip in Japan. Thanks to Yuji (our guide) for all that he did for us, we never forget his kindness! I recommend you Tokyo Free Guide: they are serious, helpful and very kind, don’t hesitate, contact them!

Many thanks for your warm hospitality and your amazing organization.
I always mention you when I report about my trip in Japan. All my friends and my colleagues are really surprised how Japanese people are so kind and friendly.

Guide: Yuji Yoshida
Route: Akihabara - Ginza
Dear Tokyo Free Guide,
we want to thank you for this great day in Tokyo. I think our tour was not one of the normal guided tours. As we are a group of Anime fans we were in Tokyo to visit the Tokyo Anime Fair and asked for a guide to show us all great stores in Akihabara. And this was the best shopping tour we ever had! Our guide Yuji-san showed us around all places for Anime fans including a maid café. He is a very friendly and considerate person and as it was a shopping tour he had to be very patient ^^
If someone wants to book a guided shopping tour through Tokyo, Tokyo Free Guide is your best option. And be sure to ask for Yuji-san^^
We will never forget this tour and surely come again.
Best regards,
Daniel
