January 2013
Guide: Atsushi Adachi
Route: Ochanomizu – Nezu/Yanaka – Shinjuku

I used your excellent service in January. My TFG was Atsushi, a good guide that show me places like Nezu, Yanaka and very beautiful places that I never could see if wasn’t with a native.

I like to apreciate the good job made by Atsushi and the perfect service that the entire TFG makes everyday.

If I come back again to Japan I will like to use this excellent service and I recommend 100% to all the people.

Thanks for everything.
Arigato Gozaimasu! Gracias por todo.

September 2009
Guide: Koji Yamada
Route: September 20th: Hamarikyu Garden- Asakusa – Ameyoko street in Ueno – Akihabara (electric town) – Yakitori in Yurakucho; September 21st: Odaiba – Tsukudajima – Nezu – Yanaka

Dear Tokyo Free Guide

We want to thank Koji Yamada for being our guide in Tokyo on September 19th and 20th 2009. He was a wonderful guide and showed us popular areas like Asakusa as well the back alleys of Nezu and Yanaka. He explained about these places in clear English and really enhanced our appreciation and understanding of Tokyo’s history and culture. He also taught us a few useful phrases in Japanese. Not only did he show us and tell us about the real Tokyo but also taught us how to use the subway so that we could explore on our own. Whoever said “You will be lost in Tokyo,” didn’t have Koji for a guide. In addition, he showed us inexpensive and authentic places that we would never have found by ourselves. We highly recommend Koji as a guide.

All the best,

April 2009
Guide: Kyoko Minami
Route: Imperial Palace ? Nezu & Yanaka ? Ueno park

Dear Tokyo Free Guide,

We were very lucky to have the services of one of your guides, Kyoko Minami, on April 27 for a full day tour of Tokyo. She took us to the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace, Yanaka and Ueno Park. She is absolutely delightful. Aside from seeing the sights we learned something about Japanese culture from her.

Your program is terrific. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to enjoy Tokyo with one of your guides.

Best Regards,

August, 2008
Guide: Yu Arafuka
Route: Shinagawa – Tsukiji – Shiodome – Yanaka – Nezu – Shinjuku

Dear Tokyo Free Guide,

We wholeheartedly thank you for your group’s wonderful service. After submitting my request online, within a few days we were matched up with Yu Arafuka.? We exchanged a few e-mails where we let him know some of the things we were interested in seeing and he came back with suggestions of possible places to go.? For our tour, Yu was kind enough to meet us directly at the lobby of our hotel.? Even more so, because we were interested in visiting Tsukiji Market, he was able and willing to meet us at the early hour of 7am – we really appreciated this!? Throughout the tour, he was very prepared knowing exactly where to go.? We would ask many questions about things we saw along the way and about life in Japan and he tried very hard to give us an answer even though some of our questions may have been a little difficult. Yu not only served as a wonderful guide, but was also a great conversational partner and someone for us to ‘hang out’ with for a whole day.? We are truly grateful for your group’s service (especially for matching us with our wonderful tour guide Yu), and would not hesitate to ask for a guide again next time we visit Tokyo!

Thank you once again,
Yan and David from Canada

October, 2006
Guide: Kawachi, Naomi and Lizzy
Route: Nezu – Yanaka – Ueno

Anyone traveling to Tokyo should consider this service. As we discovered, with the assistance of our guides we were able to experience a personal insight into life in Tokyo today, its people and culture.

We spent the day strolling the back streets of Nezu and Ueno and was it not for our guides we would have merely been onlookers in this amazing city. Kawachi, Naomi and Lizzy were able to enrich our experience by offering their insights into the areas we visited. They spoke about Japanese culture, about lifestyles but most importantly about themselves. And it is this personal touch that made our day truly the highlight of our holiday.

Kawachi, Naomi and Lizzy thank you so much for making it a memorable experience.
